My first experience with Gil Haugan was in 1979 at a company I was previously at for 18 years. We used them for five separate major building expansions throughout my career there, and their service was great! When I started my company in 1999, I chose to use Gil Haugan as the builder because of the caliber of service I had seen them deliver time and time again. The only thing that had changed in that time was that the ownership had been passed to Gil Haugan Jr., but the culture remained the same. I have used them over the last seven years on four major projects and they have always done an excellent job. They stand out with their excellent communication, their follow-through, and they hit the dates right on target! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any commercial project. They have the knowledge and experience to handle anything.

Pam was incredible to work with! I had received another 'estimate' from a different business; who was not communicating, being elusive about times and completion date. I was in a time crunch due to a house purchase and an appraiser. Somehow, this miraculous woman squeezed me in, even after sharing she had a family wedding and birth to attend! I had accepted that I was going to have to push everything back, but she made it happen. The mud jacked patio looks great and she sealed the cracks as well, which weren't included in a previous estimate! Did I mention the service was also cheaper? Because it was, $50 doesn't seem like much; but with unexpected expenses, it really mattered. I will be recommending her and this company! Don't hesitate! Thank you Pam, so much!

I needed a section of driveway raised. They were $200 lower and included several sections of sidewalk that the other company failed to notice (I did). Over the winter the driveway section sunk 1/2 inch again. I called Pam and she promptly sent out a crew that day. I was afraid it might settle out some more and they agreed to wait another year. It hasn't moved anymore in a year and they came out a day after I called and raised it. Pam has never not answered on the first call. I would use them again now even if their bid was higher. They also raised a friend of mine's driveway and they are pleased as well.

We decided to finally upgrade our home’s driveway last year. I searched for concrete companies near me and hired Yonkers Concrete Contractors to design and install our new driveway. We decided on a stamped concrete driveway that looked like bricks. The install was incredibly quick. The stamped concrete also gives the driveway an extra bit of style and class! If I could, would consider them for my vacation home concrete repairs in New Orleans! Lol.
