The existing 27-acre property has ample room for expansion to accommodate manufacturing facilities for panels and cladding production. ABB will be the first facility in the USA to utilize fly ash as a major aggregate in its application to manufacture light-block. Utilizing fly ash will give ABB the LEED designation as a preferred “green” construction material that federal, state, and local governments are mandating be used in constructing government office buildings in the future.
