I have had numerous construction companies come to my property to quote me on my backyard... Many came and never sent me a quote and many many didn't show up. I recently cut down <50 trees and upon removing some stumps myself some ledge was revealed. These companies saw my sight and you could see them shaking in their boots with their "many years of experience" saying "you need really big equipment for this job." DaCosta Construction paved my driveway 14 years ago and I just had them recently pave my driveway for my new house. As like the first time they did a fantastic job and I couldn’t be happier. Mr. DaCosta is a master with the grader and going strong at age 69 with a passion for his work. Rain water runs off evenly and away from the house with no pooling. Price seemed very reasonable for my 400’ driveway. 3” asphalt compacted to 2.5 inches minimum with many areas thicker than that.

Great price. Great job. Easy to work with from layout to execution. Handled unexpected complications (like a previously paved-over manhole) smoothly. Willingly waited between laying the processed stone and paving while we installed walls and border blocks. The whole crew worked like hell, without taking lunch so they could finish our 20 space parking lot and long uphill driveway in one day. Fine attention to detail. No skimping on processed or asphalt. This is a great company when you only need a smaller amount of cement or you need to tread lightly across your lawn with little impact. The idea of mixing a yard or two or three by the bag is back breaking. The convenience of this service is worth every penny. Plus, you get a nice consistent pour unlike the inconsistency of mixing multiple bags that never looks good. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed.
