Murphy incorporated Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co. in Spokane, Washington, and introduced the first truck-mounted concrete mixers in the Northwest in 1935. In 1981, we entered the asphalt paving business by acquiring Inland Asphalt Company, a locally owned company dating back to 1934. In September of 1997, we joined CRH in North America. Today, we have locations in Spokane, Yakima, Richland, and Coeur d'Alene, making us one of the largest producers of concrete, aggregates, and asphalt in the Northwest.
