The Kokomo Key community hired Morrison to replace a boardwalk and observation deck along the intracoastal and they also raised and repaired the existing seawall. Overall the experience was excellent. Mike and his team were very professional during the planning and permitting process. They kept us informed and were very responsive when we had questions. The crew lead, Carlos, was truly a perfectionist and I would highly recommend them… Finding a dependable, quality contractor is difficult in Florida and I would give Morrison a 10 out of 10 rating!

Just returned to NY from our home in North Miami Beach where Morrison Contractors built a new deck for us. We called on Helicon for our backyard pool and deck project. The pool was 25 years old and two corners of the deck had subsided. The retaining wall had cracked, and sand had washed out. There was an additional problem on one side where an animal (we believe one or more armadillos) had excavated a cavern. Helicon gave us a quote for 2 pins at the cracked corner, polyurethane injection and resetting the pavers. The quote was very reasonable, and we signed a contract for the work. However, when the engineers came to plan the actual work they determined the job would need a total of 6 pins. The adjusted the job in the quote – without increasing the price. (To do the additional 4 pins, we needed to remove part of a wood deck, I think they were impressed we were willing and able to do this.) When they completed the injection, they decided the pavers had to be completely relaid, and in order to do this in a timely way, they hired excellent subcontractors who came out promptly completing the job. This was a difficult job, and we are impressed that when facing complications the people at Helicon worked to find solutions and honor the contract. They were professional in every aspect of the job and took pains to find an excellent subcontractor for resetting the pavers, including us in interviewing the subcontractor. All of the work was excellent in the execution, and we have nothing but respect for Helicon. Really a pleasure to work with.

I scheduled an appointment with Helicon for potential foundation issues. Doug came out to my home to assess the problem area. He was very thorough and explained what he believed to be the issue. He was very honest with me and did not give me a sales pitch. He didn't believe I had foundation issues (more of a construction issue) and he pointed me in the right direction. It's hard to find companies that will shoot you straight these days. It seems everyone is a salesman just trying to make a sale. I didn't feel that way with this company
