Friessen Construction Co., Inc, is a Sioux Falls, South Dakota construction and development company specializing in site development, excavation, demolition, material delivery, concrete construction, site utilities and snow removal services. Since 1968, Founder Warren Friessen started the business in 1968, focusing on home and commercial building excavation and finish grading. He later expanded his services into street construction and reconstruction. Warren had a vision to develop a lake in western Sioux Falls, which is known today as Lake Lorraine. Friessen Construction Company is run by Warren's oldest daughter, Cynthia Monnin, and is widely-respected across the region as a leader in site-development work.
Services
We have the experience and equipment to reclaim asphalt and the gravel base at the same time to be reused back as base course.
Site excavation and grading are the main portion of the work we perform. From site grading to footing excavation, we have the equipment to do the job right, and make sure it is completed on schedule.
At Friessen Construction, we have the know-how to pour concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and drainage structures. These are all major components in street construction and commercial developments.
Friessen Construction has the experience and knowledge to turn existing parcels of land into commercial building and residential housing developments. Between our workforce and our sub-contractor relationships, we can provide a complete site development package.
Friessen Construction has a full fleet of dump trucks and semi-trailer side dumps. These trucks are used to deliver materials from our pits, and from other aggregate sources throughout the area.
As the seasons change in South Dakota, our equipment is modified to move and haul away snow as needed from numerous public and private parking lots.
